Oreo OTA update dropped yesterday (US unlocked) and installed it last night.
So far, no issues.
Though, it was pain to delete cache (1 app at a time).
I'm still puzzled that my 1gen Z Play had it 2 months earlier.
since this is a newer model and update was delayed, i expected Oreo 8.1 (just like for 1gen), but they proved me wrong again.
It's also on April Security patch.
Just lame.

Does that mean Motorola is holding (the same) updates based on the SIM used like they have with other unlocked phones?

udazavlanje has the unlocked Z2 Play.

IDK. I just meant that it matters to folks not to who gets it, when. Like depending on which carrier it is rolling out from, others know whether to look for it soon.
We're on Verizon, so I'll stand down. 😊

Unfortunately, one app at a time :) you can't go to Settings, then Storage and Clear Cache anymore.
Now, you gotta go to Settings, Apps & Notifications, App info, select an App, Storage, Clear Cache.

Can't you do it in Recovery?
I have TWRP, so I can't check.
You should probably factory reset after a major system update anyways.
