I wanted to suggest a feature for Android OS (i 'think' this might be the place)
Example of how such feature MIGHT work:
1) Smartphone Activation: 5 second long press on the fingerprint reader, with your ring/middle finger (i.e. A finger you do not normally use to unlock the smartphone)
2) This would force Airplane mode OFF, Location ON, WiFi ON, Mobile Data On.
3) SMS texts &/Emails would be automatically sent to listed emergency contacts, similar to this:
4) This could be combined with social media e.g. Facebook - where a similar message would be posted as their status.

***There are times when we are unable to contact help quickly, or contact/speak to 999 emergency services & it would be useful to alert loved ones at the very least. Whether you are about to be raped, abused, facing an armed robber, hostage situation, about to have a seizure/asthma attack, in a car accident, collapsed elderly, if you are a child & lost, etc.
