A few weeks ago VZ pushed an OS upgrade to my Droid X. Now if I haven't used my Droid for a while, when I turn it on, I often get a blank screen for 20-40 seconds, just the default wallpaper. Eventually the screen populates with apps and widgets and I can do things. The guy at the VZ store had never seen anything like this.
According to settings I have Android 2.3.3.
Should I go to factory settings, which would be a pain. But if this is too much OS for the machine it wouldn't solve the problem.
