OTA not found

I've been holding out on installing the latest OTA because I've been using Unrevoked and didn't want to lose root access. But the battery life is killing me and since I don't know when I can get the chance to fully root, I've decided to do the OTA. The problem is that my phone isn't finding it. I'm not being prompted for it, and when I go to system updates and system software updates to check now, it says my phone is up to date. I only have software version 1.32.651.1 so I should definitely be getting the OTA. I've tried over 3G/4G and Wifi and it doesn't find it at all. I searched but couldn't find anything, has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.

Make sure you select HTC software update.

Also, Unrevoked one-tap-root method is in the works. No ETA, but it seems like it should be soon when looking at his twitter.

I was trying to get the update on a co-worker's Evo yesterday and couldn't find it. I know they pulled the update shortly after releasing it do to adverse effects, but I understand they posted it again a day later or so.

Anyone with more info on this issue?

They send e-mails back fairly quickly depending on what it is.

I've had this happen to me. It doesn't hurt sending HTC an e-mail, but in a day or two you should see the update again.

The update sucks and I don't feel like my battery performance is any better. I wish I didn't update!

Unclick the check for updates button then check for updates manually. Worked for me, tried to get it as soon as I saw the new Unrevoked. Had the exact same issue, seems like it wont actually check if you have it set to automatically check once a day or whatever.

If you use simple root you can get full root and unlock nand in about 20 minutes

Thanks, I tried this and it still isn't finding the update. I even hard reset and tried looking for the update before installing anything or changing any settings.

I tried Simple Root a while ago and couldn't get it to work. I'll give it another try and see how it goes.

im also having the same issue. i chked for update and is telling me is up to date. I called Sprint and they tried to bs me with the HTC sync update. i asked to be trasnfered to an advanced tech support which they did. then i was told to try again next week which would be today the due date. I still do not see the update

It might have to do with Unrevoked, perhaps undo?

I don't see how Unrevoked would cause this. I gave up waiting and just rooted with SimpleRoot and installed a rooted version of the 1.47 ROM. Everything is working great now.
