OTA updates

I have a rooted ultra running 4.4. Verizon sent me the 4.4.4 update but I'm concerned it will affect my root status. I understand there is no present method of rooting 4.4.4 so I would like to disable this notification before I accidentally install the update. I froze updater 1.0 with Titanium Backup Pro,, but this didn't help. Any suggstions?

Yeah, OTAs almost always break root. Are you still getting the notification after freezing the app?
