Otterbox Commuter Knockoff

So I recently bought an Otterbox commuter case for my Samsung Galaxy S4, but I'm not quite sure if it's legit. It's gray and navy blue, the rubber part feels really smooth, and it says it's made in Germany when I read the bottom of the box. I'm pretty sure it's a knockoff, but if it is, can it still offer protection?

A fake case is better than no case. But if you're picky and want the real one guaranteed, then order from otterbox.
