Otterbox Defender Case with Google Wallet?

Hey guys I just got me an Otterbox defender case for my Galaxy Nexus, and I was wondering does anyone have this case and successfully used Google Wallet. Just want to know if the case will interfere with the NFC technology.

As far as I know it should work, I am able to read/write NFC enabled cards and stickers like Samsung's TecTiles (app needed), NFC parking meters and transit cards. As long as there is no metal between the NFC chip and NFC tag I don't think it should hinder Google Wallet.
