Otterbox Defender- Screen Protector necessary?

Is anyone using this case?

I see it for $70 at some stores and $40 at others without the hard screen protector piece. One review on Amazon said the screen protector made the corner areas of the screen hard to click, has anyone else experienced this?

I'm trying to decide if I need it or not...

Not needed. Screen is made of Gorilla Glass.

Turns out the $37 Otterbox does have the screen protector.

I like it.... it cuts glare, reduces smudges, and is sealed edge to edge in case of rain/spills.
