Out of order/VERY delayed group messages

I was in a group chat with a few of my coworkers (5 in the group including myself). Two three of the people use iPhones, one uses a S8 and my P3XL. The way everything was coming through was 70% out of order and i even continued to receive messages that were 5 to 6 hours delayed. Is anyone else experiencing this at all?

Historically hasn't been a problem for me on Android, but I noticed this exact thing last night for the first time. Still on January update.

My thoughts too, sounds like a carrier issue.
