Outlook app for Android - Unable to Attach photos

Whenever I need to compose an email and send a photo, I tap the "paper clip" icon and then select the photo that I need from the Samsung Gallery app. But after this, It adds the photo as an embedded photo instead of just attaching it as a photo image file.

Is this feature unavailable or am I missing some other settings from the Outlook app?

Unfortunately You can only send embedded photos via the Outlook app. It's a reason why I use Samsung Mail or Blackberry Works instead.

I use Nine for sending photos for this reason. It's actually a better app functionally but it's folder handling is a little clumsy and it's search function doesn't work well which is why I stopped using it as my main app.
