Outlook Calendar sync question

I don't have this phone, but I am helping someone out who does. His outlook calendar syncs fine, but in the day view, the appointments that come in as sync'd from outlook display in a very dark green color and are very hard to read. I have gone through the settings and don't see where this can be changed. Am I missing something? thanks in advance for any and all help.

Only idea I have for you is to try a 3rd party calendar. I like iRT Calendar.
