Outlook.com aliases and the new app

I notice I can now send from my Outlook.com aliases via the Outlook.com. However, when I do so, my name shows up in the received email from: field as "Outlook," although the email address is my alias. When I send it from an alias using Outlook.com on the web, it shows my name in the from: field. I'm afraid that when recipients see just "Outlook" in the from field, they will delete the message. Couldn't find a way to change this. Poor implementation from Microsoft, or am I missing something?
