Still less than the charge and t bolt , but mybe less I phone? ;-) ...also more people hearing about it which is good so we get more cases and roms!![]()
The touch screen on revo isnt as polished as tbolt. its overly sensitive or just cant seem to do what i want it to do. Its not as responsive as the tbolt. Screen looks nice but youll see the flaw when you use the browser and scroll. Scrolling is a bit choppy . Also when you scroll, screen scrolled too far even if you only flinged it by a little. same issue as the lg voyager from back in the day.
ui is very smooth just like tbolt. love the netflix.
stock for stock.. revo avg 1900 on quadrant and 1700 on tbollt. but by running quadrant test at the same time. tbolt finishes the test before revo everytime. Revo keeps up with tbolt till it gets i the I/O test.that's where revo just couldn't keep up with tbolt. tbolt will finish the test when revo reaches the planet visual test
Screen is definately not nicer than the tbolt. Brighter .. yes .. nicer no. i loaded a high resolution picture on both phone, set both phone's brightness to full. Picture on Revo is brighter but the color looks washed out. Doesnt seem realistic as the picture is of the beach. once zoomed in by double tap. the picture still is clear on the tbolt while the revo looks blurry. I made sure to have the picture zoom in equal fashion so the pic is coming up at the same cropping image.
camera .. i havent gotten a chance to test.
So all in all .. i rather go with tbolt. i have both the tbolt and the revo. tbolt is personal and revo is.my work phone.
Oh no worries buddy. i have both phone. So ive been playing with it, just havent gotten around testing the camera function.
but i do agree bout tbolt's subpar battery life but a non issue for me as it last through out the day for me with moderate usage.
imo though ranking:
screen: droid charge tbolt revo
Ui: tie between revo and tbolt, charge
battery life: revo, tbolt.. havent played with droid charge long enough but im sure its better than tbolt and maybe revo.
smoothness of day to day operation: tbolt, tie between charge and revo
Jking3002, I have also noticed the lag recently in the UI. I'm getting touch response lag fairly often that sometimes can be fixed by a reboot and other times not. I notice it most in Tweetdeck but it occurs other times as well. I tried other Twitter apps to be sure it wasn't just the app.
Thanks, that's two good ideas. I'll try another launcher as well, but I'll also pay closer attention to what might be running in the background.
