Overclock on stock 2.1 (rooted)?

I have an HTC hero with stock 2.1, but it is rooted. I wanted to know if it was possible to Overclock stock 2.1. If it is possible, how?

If your rooted then you should be able to flash in recovery. This should work but I can't be 100% sure.You need to download the zip,then boot into recovery flash the zip from sdcard.Other wise you'll have to grab a custom rom then flash the zip.If you need more info just post.

Okay I flashed that and I'm stuck on the boot screen. Just keeps saying "Now".. I did a nandroid backup before luckily. lol.

If the boot animation goes more then once thats a bootloop and that means it won't work.You could try this one in this thread.Dl (POST 49 by me)

If that doesn't work either then custom would be the only option i know.

Okay, I recovered and reflashed that same zip as you posted before and this time it booted up properly then froze. lol. Gonna try that other one now I guess.

if not HoneyBun is da*n near stock just tweaked a little. Then one of those should work out for ya.
