OVERCLOCK Your Droid X!

I've had Beesleys running for 24 hour now, no reboots! I feel lucky! :) Ill give it a couple more days, and if its still good, I'll make it stick on reboot!
I hate You! LOL, nice work and congrats.

Anybody out there know or have the stock settings? I've been playing with this thing for 48 hours straight it seems and just realized that I deleted the Stock back up file, ugh. Reboots fine, just would like to have it there in the setscaling.sh file

I can't seem to run anything stable. System runs great throughout the day but when I want to do some gaming. My X freezes and I'm back at boot up. I'm running the values set with zapx rc2. Anything over 1100mhz will not work at all

me to i just gave up. every time id run angry birds it would die and reboot. oh well it was nice while it lasted.

Using Unstable App's OC, I'm running 1.2 ghz @6.4 v and it's stable as could be on my device. It even runs great playing Angry Birds.

Beesley just fried his X guys be careful with the overclocking.........

yeah i read that. Thats got to suck. He did say before that he was doing a old nandroid from August. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or if that was on another phone.

Where do you read about things like this...and, what were his settings that caused the melt down?

Get on twitter and follow all the sites/developers. He did post a 1.38 setting but not sure if that is what he was on or if overclock killed it. Plue he got a new X and has started to get into development :)
