yes it would but i times i am willing to give up battery to remove the lag on my phone

hey there is a new Rom that allows overclock. evil Eris 2.0. I'm overclocked to 710. woot,its fast

how did you get setcpu to work ? I can install, and run it, but it stops at the SU Request... no traction after that.

Think it depends on rom. Now I'm running sensable 3.1. Right after I flashed that rom I flashed zarfure overclock update. When the phone rebooted, I ran setcpu and I set to 806. Anything higher will cause eris to reboot.

I figured my issue out, I had the wrong ROM, had to get a new version of Ivan's rom that had the overclock kernal, and also I had to wipe clean after the install to allow SU to fully work.
