Overclocking

Anyone tried it yet?

I'm assuming the procedure should be identical to the captivate, and 1.2ghz should b possible without too much effort.


Not that this thing needs to be overclocked...

Yeah I was about to say mine is snappy enough as is and I dont want any more heat or less battery life. I have considered underclocking to ~800mhz and seeing how well it runs like that.

I'm running a widget to underclock mine currently to keep the CPU running at a minimum when the screen is off. Hopefully it might improve battery life.

I'm guessing you would need a custom kernel first. But even before that a custom recovery.
