When I stream this one particular radio app ( talk stream live) my phone gets really hot. Only that app. Have un and re installed, still blazing hot. Any clues?

Hmmm, just read in another thread that it might be poor signal strength causing the heat. Anyone think of anything else?

If you use 3G network other than 2G it's get too hot. I've this problem when I change to 2G Moto G cool down.

Are you kidding? Yet another [language removed by Moderator] bug. So I guess streaming Netflix on 3G is going to start a fire.

This phone sucks! How many bugs can there be. Honestly totally disappointed by Motorola.

Who is teasing you? The phone has great reviews and actually has many bugs/issues. One or two is OK but there are just too many and Motorola is not making any official statements.

I purchased the phone expecting things to just work. Instead I waste time searching the net for workarounds.

No one is teasing me Ok.
Calm down brother I'm not here to argue with you or others. I just shared my opinion here that's over now Ok.
We're here to share our opinions.

Please don't call me brother and don't tell me to calm down. Put up a few useful posts before saying things like this.

Ok. This Topic - Overheating Moto G.

My Moto G heats over 55°C when I switching from GSM to 3G. I don't know why. So I contacted Moto Care they says it won't explode don't worry after 60°C Phone automatically goes to cool down mode this time phone didn't respond. This is what they said about heating problem.
I think this issues starts for me after upgrading OS to 4.4.4.
:-)

I'm in the same boat as you after I updated to KitKat 4.4.4 when I first received my boost mobile variant!! I hope lollipop fixes this or I'll request a replacement.
