Wondering what everyone's overnight battery drops are. This morning I'm seeing a 12 percent loss over about a 7 hour span. Which seems fairly high.

Any suggestions?

That does seem high. Have you checked to see what apps are running in the background? Maybe you could restrict them?

That's very high. J don't know mine exactly but it's never more than just a few %. If you can't get it back on track you might have an app misbehaving and you might need to do a factory reset and if that doesn't resolve it then you should request a replacement.

It depends. What is your cell signal strength? Are you leaving GPS and bt on? Aod too?

For me the only thing that has changed is adguard since I used to lose a couple of percent a night. Will turn off tonight and see what happens

I put my Pixel 4 XL on my wireless charger when I go to bed and wake up to a fully charged phone.......

Mine is about 5%. It's pixel 3 xl though and always have it face down so AOD turns off while I am asleep.

Batteries dont like being fully charged, especially trickle charged being full all night. Whatever floats your boat, but i charge in the mornings before i leave.

I have been doing this for my last three phones that I keep for over two years each. I have never had any battery problems.

I don't remember the last time I charged my phone overnight. Charger at work, at home and in the car. Absolutely zero need to wake up to a 100% battery in the morning. I do realize others might have valid reasons as to why that is critical to them.

About 12%, don't have AOD on anyway & there's nothing unusual in the usage. I leave on desk stand charger overnight if I'm working the following day but leaving it off at the moment (I've not noticed any appreciable battery degradation leaving it on charge with previous phones, but try not to unless I have to).

I've restricted most apps that I don't need running in the background. I do have Bluetooth on, wifi, I have a good signal. Same settings basically as my old s10e. I only dropped a few overnight with that phone.

Charging a battery and keeping in full doesnt hurt the battery at all!! This was the case many years ago, not now.
