OWA for Android Stopped Working On Samsung Galaxy S8+ Phone

I have a new Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphone. My OWA was working OK on it for a few weeks, but it has now stopped working. I have uninstalled and re-installed it many times, to no avail. I have turned my phone off and on, no help! It keeps telling me that it needs to be reset, but when I reset, it doesn't do any good. What's wrong?

I thought OWA was browser based. Hence the term "Web Access" right there in the name.

Otherwise, as an app, it's just another email client.

I recall reading Microsoft ceased development of OWA app. Last update was over a year ago.

I highly recommend Nine. It's a great email app and the calendar / contacts integrates well with your existing built in apps.

You can use the full Outlook app (it's free), a different email client or access it through your phone's browser.
