Owners, is the 6P really a quality product?

I think both nexus's which released this year are useless.I expect 4 gb ram and snapdragon 820 with nexus 6p.It could be delayed. But it would be good. But now,its not really makes a difference.

So the best nexus ever according to all the reviewers is useless because it doesn't have a processor that hasn't been released yet?

Why not just delay it 2 years then because I'm sure after the 820 there will be an even better processor.

I love more ram too however Nexus uses less than most bloated phones so user available ram may be pretty good. I haven't actually looked at the numbers though.

IMO the quality is excellent. Recommend the 6P to anyone! Best device out right now for the money hands down

Just got my device and I have none of the issues others have posted, screen is even and color seems proper for amoled (slightly grey whites), no imperfections on the body or screen, and camera focuses as it should. I will root it before putting it through its paces but so far, I must say its up their with my One M7 in quality.

You all are going to tell me I'm nuts but I'm thinking of sending this 6p back. I've got the MXPE also and can only keep one. The MXPE is really good and fits in my hand better. The Moto features are very useful. The screen is beautiful, maybe even better than the 6p. The camera is meh..not so good with low light, but the videos are much more stable than the 6p. And none of the USB c cable crap. The usb c cable is stupid. Serves zero practical purpose for the average person.

The 6p excels in the overall speed department. Camera is quite good. Build quality is superb. But it is a lot larger in the hand than the MXPE. Plus there's the whole instant update thing.

Tough call...

Is the call quality of the Nexus 6p on par with the Moto XPE?

Received mine today, 64 GB Frost, and quickly fell in love. It feels great in my hand and feels secure, is not as slippery as most metal phones I've held. I suspect some of that is the Frost finish, it almost feels plastic, or maybe feels a bit like it has a skin on it. My screen looks great with a decent looking white (typically white for an AMOLED) and seems consistent over the entire display.

I setup my phone using my Nexus 5 and it copied most of my settings, including things like Daydream and Do Not Disturb settings (likely helped that both phones are on Marshmallow).

Extremely pleased so far.

Agreed my silver is not slippery at all. Fits good in hand. I'm thinking about getting a dbrand skin for the back just to protect from scratches.

I've only had it for 12 hours but so far it's great. The finger print sensor has been flawless and the phone is lightning fast. No issues with the display but its been dark out since I got it. Speakers are extremely loud without distortion. I'm not even sure I want to leave the notification volume all the way up!

That's the quandary I am having and I just don't know which phone to get as the Pure/Style really appeals to me and so does the 6P but it's still the Amoled screen I would need to get used to and I have read that quite a few people have uneven whites and different colour hues on the 6P screen at certain angles is that just an Amoled thing? It might come down to price as the Style 32gb is £150 less than the 64gb 6P and I know I will still be getting a great phone and I would feel better using the Moto without a case as I know with the 6P that Aluminium will get scratched before I know it :)
I sent mine back today due to the varying screen - pink on one side and creamy on the other. And by coincidence my Moto X Style turned up too. The Moto X screen is much better and at £100 less it's worth it I think.

Out of curiosity where do you send it? USA or China

Well that's convinced me I will be getting the Style asap as I am unsure about the Amoled screen and colour variances on screen as I couldn't put up with that, I am sure the 6P is a great phone but not £150 better than the Style!

Absolutely the nicest Android phone that I have owned. I have owned the HTC Incredible, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 5, One Plus One, and Nexus 6.

I've read Huawei has been known to make junk products not particularly cell phones.

Anyone have any long time experience w/ the company's phones?

I wouldn't worry about it. They're working under Google so I would like to believe quality was necessary in order to get the contract.

I am coming from a Droid Turbo. How much will I miss the Moto Actions? I think the OK Google will wake the phone just as it does on the Turbo so I think that may be the only thing I miss.

Coming from a Turbo I miss the battery life. That's about it. Motorola and Nexus are very similar software wise.
