Apparently I like enough of my Honor 8 that it has totally stalled my upgrading decision... But it still runs well and works great, so I have plenty of time to decide.

It's so difficult to part with this phone! Of course, I'd definitely keep it as a backup in case something happened to the new one. Have you narrowed it down to a few phones that you're looking at?

I am using the note 8 now as my primary. The honor 8 is a backup but still can't bring myself to get rid of it.

I preordered it and got it at launch. Samsung was offering it for around $500 when I traded in my s5 for note 7 owners
