P2 Won't boot at all

I have had my P2 since Christmas, no issues at all

This afternoon I noticed it was turned off, not sure when or why, however I suspect the battery drained due to my email app which I left running today.

After being on the charger for over an hour now, it still won't boot

I tried the power button, power button with both volume up and down... all to no avail

Don't even see the charging icon on the screen

So what's next?

5/1/2018: Well it finally booted up, don't know why but sure glad it did. When it came up, the battery was at 97% so clearly that wasn't it. I was actually on the phone with support when it booted and since it booted up, she said there was nothing more they could do. Thanks for reading

How long was it on the charger?

When I first tried to boot it, it was over an hour. Once it finally did boot up, it was well over 2 hours. Once it booted up, the battery level was 97%, so it was actually charging the whole time, just wouldn't boot

Today I found notifications for several apps were changed and the weather app was set to daily weather update

At least it's working now

Great everything is working now!
My habit is to always charge every night in order to avoid running totally out of battery. Even with heavy use throughout the day, I'm seldom lower than 40% before putting my 2 XL on the charger.

Devices can get really weird if they run out of battery.
