P20 over Mate 10 Pro?

I'm thinking about getting a new phone, and I'm choosing between the P20 (P20 Pro is not an option) and the Mate 10 Pro. I'm aware that the P20 has a higher megapixel count on the front-facing camera, but that's something I don't care that much about. I also know that the Mate 10 Pro has a larger battery.

The Mate 10 Pro costs about $60/€50 more than the P20, but is the larger battery worth it?

Tough choice BUT the Mate 10 Pro has a better (OLED) display against the P20's LCD. Mate 10 Pro also gets Always on Display thanks to that OLED display. Mate 10 Pro has dual stereo speakers but the P20 only has a single bottom firing speaker. Mate 10 Pro is water and dust resistant but the P20 is only splashproof. Then there's the battery and yes it definitely makes a big difference. My Mate 10 Pro is the only phone ever to see me through a full day on one charge and I barely put my phone down.

I would go with the mate 10 Pro if you aren't stretching to the P20 Pro.

Depends what you want. The Mate is an office in your pocket, if that’s what you want to make it. The P20 is smaller, with a small advantage on the imaging side.

However, does Mate 10 Pro has the same Night mode capability like the P20? P20 4sec Night mode is just simply amazing. And with 1.55µm size for P20, I think low light photography will be better than Mate 10 Pro.

Mate 10 Pro has night mode but its time depends on how dark the area is. Timer can go up as high as 20secs.
