From my experience dealing with Huawei before with green tint on the Mate 20 there procedure is they send out an envelope, you then send the phone to them and if they agree there is an issue they will fix or replace. Way too much of
a faff for me!
I may just return it anyway as I have the pro but I was thinking of keeping both and running the smaller handset for a bit. I am having a clear out of my other phones so do have the room in my arsenal!
Honestly thinking that it is so minor that I may just keep it or maybe see if Amazon will offer some reimbursement if I were to keep it. If this was a warehouse deal or refurb, I would not bat an eyelid, just not something I expect from a new sealed phone.
I guess Amazon must have a batch from Huawei where the phones QC tester was a little clumsy! Does raise the question as to how easily scratched the edges could be on these devices though.
