P30 Pro loses GPS signal constantly

Hi,

My P30 Pro has been losing GPS constantly recently. I use it to track my times and position when running, but it keeps missing huge chunks. I've tried all the usual stuff, i.e. no case, kept to clear skies, etc. but it seems to happen most when the phone autolock starts.
I can't really run while keeping the phone active all the time, so I was wondering if there's I'm missing some system settings for this.
Note: I've already ticked the allow access to GPS for the apps Google Fit and Strava, both have the same problem.

Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you also made sure those tracking apps have Battery Optimization turned off, and any RAM management options don't kill the app as soon as the phone goes idle? Huawei is notorious for that kind of behavior.
