P40 Pro Banking Apps vs Web versions?

honestly I don't even know why I use Barclays, everything about them has been a pain for me. I don't believe with this whole security thing, its just their app department being lazy, first direct have always been really good

I used to work for Barclaycall 20 years ago when telephone and online banking were in their infancy. I am not sure they have even updated things much in that time.

But their app is clunky and poor compared to others, like NatWest and Nationwide who I also bank with.

They refuse to update to support face unlock on the Pixel 4, even though Nationwide did within a few weeks and Amex.

They refuse to support betas, although they do now support ios betas, although not officially. They are truly a nightmare for technology.

I have a P20 Pro and looking to purchase P40 Pro. I was playing around with petal search and downloaded the barclays app from petal. It did work but i deleted straightaway as not sure if its secure. Does anyone know if its secure from petal search?

I updated my banking app via petal search, I haven't found an issue with it and I think petal search is linked with Huawei

They sound like if my Dad were a bank!!
