P40 series and HereWeGO Maps ?

How does HereWeGo work ive seen it on App Gallery but im not very good with these things? Just like Google maps or is it a knock off version?

I use it and I loved it but im not keen on the walking aspect of it, it had me walking around in circles this morning

I just started using it on my P40 pro, it's just like any other navigation app. It's really simple and minimalist I would say, but works really well, especially if you need it for driving (but also has good public transportation and biking features).

Ive used it before I dont think its linked to anything else on the phone like Maps is, which i guess is either a good thing or bad thing depending on the user.

The maps themselves are great.

I agree, I'm from the era of smartphones where I used to uninstall the updates on maps as it took up to much space so I can deal with minamilistic!

I'm hit and miss with this feature too, I never used the local side to it like where the nearest hotel was ?????????????????? do you think this might come in to here we go later?

Saw a here we go car out in wales the other day scanning the roads so you could say its definitely up to date ha!

Ive been using Waze more now tbh, i like the aspect of reporting as a user on crashes, police, traffic and diversions etc

That sounds like a really handy feature. I don't like the walking side to HereWeGo it doesn't work for me!

I thought so too, but you can actually create an account with email or use you Facebook account. I assume to keep tabs on visited places, I don't really use it though. Still really minimalist and clean looking though.

That's cool, I thought they were using Amazon's database at first. Was it like ones one of those cars that is mapping the streets in 3d like Google?

The only problem is in Waze i cant see how to plot from a point other than the one im at. I used this for work all the time in Google maps
