P5113 problem with usb connection in windows.

Every time i try connecting my tab to vmware fusion running windows 7, it will continually loop connection. I.e. connect - disconnect - connect - disconnect. It does it over and over and never connects long enough to show under my computer. I downloaded kies and tried manually installing the drivers but it never works.

I updated to 4.2.2 last night via kies in Mac OS and I hate it. It's time to root and place a custom rom on this thing but if I can't connect to windows, I can't root it....

Tried different USB ports?

Yes, it does it on all USB ports of my laptop, but all of the ports work when in Mac OS.

Spikes suggested turning off auto update enable in the tablet.
downloading new drivers for the win7 pc.
not the same problem but it worked for me
