Page buddy broken?

Theoretically i like the earphone buddy page on my Samsung s3. In practice it is driving me nuts as every time I plug in my earphones the widgets have reset to default.

I want to use audible and google play music with my headphones in so added shortcuts or widgets to the buddy page. The next time I plug my earphones in my selection is gone and I am back to the standard selection which I never use! Any suggestions?

Just set up a screen with your favourite music and video player options, and disable the page buddy bloat.
