Paid unlocking services

There are services that some youtubers talk about where you can pay money, take a couple steps and get your phone unlocked. If I do that with my new S8 will I be able to move it to a different carrier?

If it's locked to a carrier, yes. But you have to be careful with those and ask if the unlock is permanent. If it's not, any OS updates and you might lose the 'unlocking'.
