There is definitely influence from Palm OS on the Evo.

In multitasking you can swipe up to get rid of the "cards" you don't want.

In notification pull down you can swipe right to get rid of a single notification.

Love this phone more and more everyday!

I think you mean webOS, not Palm OS ;)
These are actually features found in all phones with Android 4.0
I particularly like the swipe notifications.

Pretty sure google hired the lead UI programmer from the webOS team a couple years ago. No surprise he's been an influence. And I like it.
 
yea one of the 1st things I noticed as well and do like it just as I liked it on the Pre.
 
Am I the only one that hears a mental "whoosh" as they swipe up/close an app in the mutitask screen?
 
I will be in heaven if they mix in more and more of webOS with Android. Best of both worlds

It's great that bits of webOS are showing up in Android. If that's how it gets to live on, I'm ok with that.
