Android Central Question

I just set-up my Palm and - even without using my google-account - everything is "Google". now. I dont find nothing like on my previous android phones, despite the settings hardly anything comparable.
Some expamples:
1. I cannot find the contacts which are on my SIM-Card
2. I cannot find an explorer, a file-manager to access self-made downloads
3. I even have no idea how to get to my camera
... I only have this babyish google-multi-colour-icons which make me really agressive.

How to get rid of them an back to simple Android System feature.

Thanks for any advice
Hans

Welcome to Android Central! Like it or not, Android is a Google product, and they can design their version of Android the way they want. If you want a Google-less Android, then you'd need to root the phone and find a custom ROM that's close to AOSP, stripped of Google services (if one exists for that phone -- check the forums at XDA-Developers.com).
