Palm rejection

For those of you who have used the earlier note, or the note 10.1, I have a question.

How does this device handle palm rejection? I have seen videos where you can manipulate the screen with your fingers even while the s pen is out.

Is the palm rejection handled by the app, or is it by pressing a button on the pen, or is it somehow native to the note software itself?

Thanks!

I would like to know more about this as well.

Can you scroll down a note with a finger without making marks? Set it up so the pen makes marks, but the finger just pans?

I have just recently used the Note 2 at a T-Mobile store. Palm rejection is turned on when the s-pen is a certain distance from the screen. This is handled on an OS level and will work for all apps, even ones not coded to take advantage of the s-pen. There is also a button near the bottom right in s-note that allows you to use your fingers to zoom and pan while you use the s-pen for writing. As far as I can tell both of these functions worked perfectly. I did not notice any mistakes of stray marks at all when testing it out though it was only for a short period of time.

If you have any other questions about the Note 2 I would be happy to answer them.

In best buy just recently, I saw a setting where you could ignore all other inputs other than the span. Now that I have one, it immediately updated to 4.1. 2 and it pretty much ignores palm/finger input on the page, but touch the side scroll bars and who knows what will happen. I can't find that ignore all other input option anywhere on my Note 10.1.

Palm rejection is neat, but what would be REALLY helpful is disabling the back button when the pen is out.
