Pandigital 9" rooted. Now what?

I succesfully rooted my Pandigital 9" running 2.0 Eclair. Used one click z4 root. Simple enough. Super user is installed. Also got set cpu. How do i tweek it to go faster? I can see where to do this in set cpu, but I'm not sure how far i can push this and not blow it up. This thing has a 800mhz processor that i have noticed will max out when downloading a web page or during useage. I had the app cpuguage before rooting and noticed this before rooting. Is this maxed out from the manufacturer? What apps should i be looking for to squeeze what i can from this economy gem? I am rooted, but any apps have to be able to run 2.0 Eclair as i have not found anything higher available. No Android market either. I've ben using slideme, Amazon apps, Soc.io mall, and Android Pit app center.
