I was testing my alarm just now. At alarm, fires up a Pandora playlist I created with easy listening music to wake up to. For the first time I noticed that the song playing stays lit up on the wedge with controls to pause or advance to the next song. Unfortunately it is upside down when the phone is flat on the nightstand.
Maybe it now persistent displays in a normal phone's notification bar and this is how it shows up on the Galaxy Edge?
Either way, this would be a good example of how the Wedge could be used (if they could figure out how to automatically not display the text upside down with the phone lays flat).
