Pandora wont play!!

What's wrong with Pandora internet music?? It'll play about two songs then just quit!!!
Then I have to power it back on!!!

First, please uninstall the Pandora Android application. Then power down your Android handset and pull the battery out. Put the battery back in, turn the phone on, and then re-install the Pandora Android app.

To uninstall, start from the home screen, press the menu key and select "Settings" then "Applications". Next select "Manage Applications". Scroll down and select Pandora. Then uninstall.

To reinstall, go to the Android Market and search for Pandora. You should also see it in the most popular apps list.


What should I do if Pandora still freezes, lags or crashes frequently?

Most issues with the Pandora app lagging or force-closing are related to the way Android handles system resources.

Here are some suggestions that may help.

1) The browser can eat up a lot of memory. Try clearing the browser cache. Open the browser and click the "Menu" button -> More -> Settings -> Scroll down and select "Clear Cache" then hit "OK."

2) At times when you're still experiencing issues, even after taking the above steps, try powering down your phone entirely and then turning it back on.

I'm having the same problem with my Samsung Note 4. Pandora won't play, IHeart Radio won 't play. What is going on? I have tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them, powered down & removed the battery (that temporarily worked), but I keep having the problem. Works for a while and then shuts off. The timeline bar in Pandora shows the music isn't playing. HELP! I use my phone to stream music at work and I'm without music!
