Has any one noticed since the update Pandora Sounds like SH** ever since the 2.2 update. I am a big Pandora User and the sound was grate but as soon as I did the update and played it it didn't sound as good as it used to. is any one else noticed the difference or is it just my phone?

no this happens on my phone too i thought i was the only one like this i dont know whats going on with it

i only noticed a volume difference to be honest, but dont use it a ton.
Did you check the HD option for grins and giggles in the settings?

I didn't notice a degradation in sound quality but Pandora regularly changes songs out of nowhere even when the screen is asleep.

Really? Mine sounds better than before! j/k!

yeah, this is a known problem. If you are rooted, there is a file you need to edit, but if you are not rooted, then you'll have to wait for Pandora fix.

I use Pandora alot and mine sounds the same since the 2.2 update. Listening to it now on my phone while on my my PC.

Don't use the speaker. The speaker sounds bad enough so you can't tell. On proper headphones or regular speakers it's extremely noticeable, as if the bitrate was reduced significantly or made very tinny sounding.

Dude I thought it was just me. Slacker is doing the same. I had it playing over Bluetooth in the car and thought my 6x9s and 12s was busted. But realized it was the programs when I put on a cd or switched to satellite. So gay. They need to fix this soon.

sent from Evo while getting chocolate wasted!

The sound was always "grate" for me. Grated on me horribly. :) That's why I use Last.fm instead.

I noticed there was a Manual Update to Pandora this morning. I can't tell if it fixed the problem I'm at work so I can't tell through the Comp speakers I was wondering if anybody that has this Problem checked it out and was able to see if there was a difference.

Update did not fix the problem unfortunately.

Google swapped out the audio codec, incorrectly, which caused this issue for AAC streams. Google already fixed it in the Froyo branch; we just have to wait for an update which who knows when that'll come :(

This isn't a Pandora question but does any one know what app I can use to listen to 790 KABC AM
