Parsing Error trying to install a .apk on Samsung android 2.3.6

Hello,

I've just received a Otium Gear S Smart Watch.

I am having problems installing the BTNotification software onto my smartphone, which is needed to use all of the push & synching features properly.

I am using a Samsung phone running Android 2.3.6 OS. I have downloaded the required file (BTNotification_K6.apk) onto my phone.
When I try to run the installer for this file, I receive an error message " Parse Error, there is a problem parsing the package " and therefore can't install.

Do you have any suggestions which might solve this problem?

It could be that the app is not compatible with you older version of Android.
