Partial Charging issue

My s7e (Exynos version, on Nougat) charges only till 8x% and stops charging further. Mostly it stops at 81% or 83% and sometimes at 88% or so. I use the original wired charger that came in the box.

I sent logs on Samsung Members app but got no response from Samsung. Then I posted my problem there and found that there are others too who got this issue.

This problem wasn't there out of the box but came later after the April Nougat update.

Did anyone else face this problem? How to solve it? Thanks.

I'm currently having a problem with charging my phone as well. Though I recently put it under some water but I've rarely dropped it. Currently at 28% and steadily declining.

Try unplugging the phone then turning it off. Then plugging it in and turning it on. This has worked on past Galaxy devices to reset the charging circuit.

Tried this and factory reset too but all in vain.

This might help. Go to the phone screen with the dialing number pad showing, enter "*#0228#" and that will put you on the battery status screen, tap on "quick start" then you can reset the fuelgauge. Then reboot and see if the charging % goes up all the way to 100%.

The wireless charging is a little finicky with mine. I use a TYLT charger on my headboard and in the morning, it's sometimes only charged to 60% or so. I have a Kmashi fast wireless charger that I noticed yesterday when connected to SideSync, it wasn't charging at all.

This is my first Samsung phone and I'm not very impressed with a few things.. I know most people love them..

I am having similar issues. I have 2 s7's in the house with Sprint. I have two separate brands of wireless chargers. My wife and I, just recently, are waking up to find our phones not fully charged. These chargers and phones have been working for many many months. Something has changed and I can't find any information on how to address this specific issue.. Did you find a solution?
