Partition Sd Card Or Not

All rooted up and ready to go.Put the amon ra recovery on phone.Did nandroid back up first thing. Next wanted to know if doing the partition to ext3 is worth it. Do plan on flashing custom roms.Read alot about it but no definite conclusion on it except if you are using a lot of apps it is woth it.Would it be worth my while . Thank you came from optimus s to evo so learning the ropes on this device.

It all depends on whether the ROM you're going to flash takes advantage of an ext3 or not. Sense based ROM's have the most to gain since they are the biggest. No need really if you're flashing an AOSP, but I'm sure someone will tell you I'm wrong. If you partition it and the ROM doesn't support it, well, to me it's just wasted space. You can use it, but you'll have to path the program to the extension to use the files you put in there.

I kind of like the sense roms. Used cm7 on my optimus s liked it but I quess I like the animation also.I guess I can always partion later just was think about it right now before I start checking out all the roms. Thank you
