Password is always invalid with HTC Mail

Fortunately, I haven't had the memory leak problem that a lot of others are having. But I recently changed the password on the e-mail account I had synced with HTC's mail client. When I opened the program it let me know the password was invalid because I hadn't gone into the settings to change it yet. Well, going into the account settings and trying to change the password, I got a message telling me the username or password is incorrect. Here's the problem: The Mail client has an option to show the password as you type it. I'm staring right at the e-mail and the password - neither are incorrect.

Has anyone else had this problem? I feel like it's pointless to complain about anything with Froyo coming out so soon, but this is still a huge issue. For the record, the password works fine in other programs. I just like the Mail widget.

I figured out how to fix it. I had to remove the account from HTC Mail entirely and then re-add it. For some reason it wouldn't work if I tried to change it while it was still synced. Strange bug, but I wanted to put this here incase anyone else experiences this.
