Greetings,

I am trying to set third party email account. Downloaded dedicated app, NOT going through default mail app. I would like the phone to remember my password, so that I do not have to log in every time. However, I DO NOT want the passwords to be stored anywhere on the Google or their servers. Just locally on my device, preferably so that Google does not have any way to access it there. Is there such a solution?

Thanks very much

Welcome to Android Central! Would you be ok with other companies' servers? For example, you could use a password manager like LastPass, which would keep your passwords on their secure server.

I only recommend a dedicated third party manager. Not only do they offer more convenience, but security because your passwords are protected by a master password. If you store them on your phone, then anyone that may happen to get to it will have access to all of your info.
