Patch here, getcha ics patch?

Last week, I saw an article in the blog, "Gotta Be Mobile" that said the ICS patch is delayed until early to mid-September. Apparently, so many bugs need to be worked out that testing will take longer than originally thought. However, I have not seen confirmation of this from any other source, so I offer this FWIW. ..

Ironically, I got an email today from Verizon, saying that the upgrade to ICS is available...only a month after ICS was sent out!

Sigh...:banghead:

How in the heck did all these bugs in ISC get past the testers before it was released ? :(

Artic 2.2 improved my battery on ICS. At first it was barely noticeable but after a full charge, it got better. Also with Artic, its less bloated

Do not diss ICS on the Maxx...some people people here will think that you are kicking their mamma in the groin if you do that...

:D

If ICS wants respect... it should;
A) quit making my battery into an easy-bake oven.
B) Quit crashing out of everything and making my life "unfortunate".
C) Stop making my typing, touches and swipes act like they're either lagged or never happened.

The phone is great. The ICS has some great new features. But without it functioning smoothly and efficiently, its like a Ferrari with no wheels. Looks great...doesn't do %&#*

Patch please?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. It's is a million times smoother than gingerbread. Try a factory reset.

I think we all have to accept that a small percentage of Maxx's were really messed up by ICS, and factory resets aren't going to help them. I do hope the patch fixes things.

(This one made me laugh)
X2, AMEN!

I am another maxx user anxiously waiting for the patch. I am one of those that is experiencing the GPS issues and the radio signal is definitely worse. Battery is still great though thank god

I don't get why different people have different issues with the same phone. It's totally boggling me. Any idea why this happens?

At least they're making a patch. The last BlackBerry OS I had was crap and there was no patch. Grr.

I had GB for less than a month before ICS hit me, so I can't compare much. I do agree it becomes an Easy Bake oven sometimes. It is rare when I get more than 15 hours of use without getting to the low battery mode. Most of that is from the display, however. I've also noticed if I'm in areas with limited coverage (I work in rural areas occasionally) it drains faster. When it starts running slower, I restart it.
