pc connection help please

I have a Kyocera hydro icon 4.4.2 android. I'm not sure when this happen but suddenly I can't connect it to my pc. It shows up as charging and on the pc end let's me eject it that's it. Mass storage or media transfer isn't working. I have Googled and searched and I can not find anything. I am lost I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?
