PC music player, similar to iTunes for an iPod

I decided to go with an LG G3 as my next music player with a 200gb card. I finally transferred all of my music onto the device, but now I want to create playlists and be able to hook the device up to and play music through my computer. Apparently with Marshmallow, how the device is read on a PC (Windows) machine is through MTP, which makes this not so simple? I've been trying to scour the Internet for an answer, but I haven't really turned anything useful up, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

That's really not the point... I like to have control on my PC, so if I'm listening to music, I can simply hit next in the OS or pause it to take a Skype call, instead of having to stop what I'm doing and hit next on the device or scroll through and find which song I want to play... it'd be so much easier if I can just do this all on the system that I'm working on. Plus, I need to create playlists and having to do the manual way of dragging each song to the playlist is incredibly tedious.

Does LG have a PC suite? Samsung has a lot of PC software that does this stuff, so I would expect LG to have something similar.

You may've just saved the day... good idea, didn't even think of that. Thanks!

EDIT: this was so close... it had an iTunes-like view, but I wasn't able to create playlists, and it was extremely slow/sometimes crashed.
