I got my Axon 7 two days ago and it's been running flawlessly on VZW network without having me do a thing other than popping in the SIM and add my applications and my accounts. I didn't have to edit APN / boot with GSM SIM or anything like that. It did take the network an hour or two to provide full download speed. It started low single digits but in two hours, I had speed as fast ast 100Mbps in my driveway. With my Nexus 6, I had never been able to obtain such speed in the two years I have owned it.
The phone thinks I am roaming and wouldn't allow me upgrade to Nougat 7.0 unless I download via WiFi.
WiFi Hotspot on my PdaNet / FoxFi worked for the first time - I have had it for two years on my Nexus 6 and it never worked under 6.0 or 7.0 and had to resort to USB connection for years.
Would anyone know if I'd break it and resort back to USB connection if I upgrade to Nougat?
Please advise - thanks
