PDF Previews

Kinda cross posting this from AndroidForums because I've had no good answers

I am in desperate need of a PDF file viewer that has both a file preview and the ability to use network shares. That is to say, when the files are listed, I should be able to see an image of the file before clicking on it. Most file explorers can do it with pictures like JPGs and PNGs, or even videos, but I absolutely cannot find anything that does it for PDFs. The closest I could find are Xodo and ReadEra, as they both have file preview, but neither of them seem to be compatible with SMB shares. The easiest SMB share connector I've found is Total Commander, but it doesn't have file preview.

Basically, I need this, but on Android:

Alternately, if I could have some way of mounting an SMB drive as a "folder" that an app can then see and use, it could also work.

The tablet used is a cheap RCA Android tablet but this is doesn't matter as it should be something applicable to any Android device.

I'm assuming that you need the preview because of the file naming system being used gives no description of what the file is, correct?

All I can think is use two apps. Not the best but...

Kind of? But not really, the naming scheme is the part number, and the employees who use the PDFs should also have the part numbers on the fabrication orders. Unfortunately, even with that, it's not like they're checking closely.

The thing is, most PDF readers, and even ebook readers, have thumbnails, but somehow, absolutely none can do SMB shares. And while file explorers can do them easily, none can do PDF previews.

Unfortunately, even with two programs (which would've been the likely solution), the way it's been arranged thus far is that a large portion of the folders also have Windows link files. .lnk files, I've found out after trying some Linux distros, are exclusive to Windows, and con only be read by Windows.

Meaning I'm abandoning this wild chase and need to figure something else.
