Peeled off my screen protector...

and you guessed it. Dropped it about two hours later.

It fell from my pocket while picking up after my dog. The thing that pisses me off most is that I dropped it the day before from two feet higher and not a scratch. Today, I have about 5 hairline fractures...

Anyone else so I don't feel angry alone?

I lost my phone awhile back and still havent recovered. When I walk the way *I think* I walked home that night, i still search for it.....

That sucks. If it's any consolation, a screen protector would have probably done nothing to prevent shattering. If you have TPE, that's covered (ask me how I know)!

Awww man. That sucks. Why did you take it off though? This reminds of the time my friend was taking his phone it the outer box to switch cases. As he was taking it out the case he drops it 5 feet on to concrete. Lol. He was devastated. Mad at the world. As you can imagine, the good friend in me picked it up for him. The bad friend in me started laughing his ass off. Had to be one of the funniest days in my life and one of the most unfortunate in his.

And on the bright side at least you can still use it

that bites. Sorry to hear that. I dropped my phone day 2 in the parking lot and messed up the chrome bezel on all 4 corners but the screen survived without a scratch.

I took it off because it was starting to peel and I hated the feel of my finger on the screen. I'm a person that prefers nothing on the phone that didn't come on the phone.

But this ends my streak of being phone accident free since '01...

On a related note, I do have protection, so it will be taken care of... just pissed, more at myself than anything. And it is still usable until I get the replacement. Although everytime I look at it, I imagine the cracks are getting bigger.

So, no worries... I'll get over it.

Mine didn't, and I refused to leave the store (BBM) without one, so I had to buy their only one at $25, but for that much I made the guy put it on for me. I did notice when I got home, though, it has a lifetime warranty.

no they don't come with protectors and if it did I would have removed it before turning on the phone for the first time. I hate screen protectors. Never, ever have I scratched a single screen. Neither has my daughter. However, she has broken several of them. Screen protectors do nothing to help from breakage.

In my case, my phone is "supposed" to have it's own front pocket, but that doesn't keep from getting the occasional keys and change dumped in there when my hands or full or I'm being inattentive

Be careful about the lifetime replacement on these protectors. It is not with BBM and all they tell you is to contact the manufacturer who will require that you send the bad one back before they send you a new one. I was burnt on this one.

my daughter just throws it in her backpack with all of her spiral notebooks pens, pencils scissors, rulers and good knows what else. For two years with her epic and never got a scratch on the screen.

I purposley scratch my screen in an upper corner somewhere so when I do get a scratch on it, it doesn't bother me as much.

Wait.....j/k....I would never do that intentionally...it just happens all by itself. But that is why I use a screen protector no matter what. Anything can happen at any given time and I like to be ready for it. S.Protectors and cases can be your BFF's forever!

man that sucks....i was on the toilet and put the phone down on top of my undershorts between my legs while they were on the floor, wiped my butt and pulled up my undershorts hurridly and the phone went flying up like 2 feet and fell smack on the granite floor and did a few bounches.... It.has a nice little dent in the side ..but its ok...at least it didn't go plop in the toilet
