People already lining up for Iphone 6 LOL

Note sure why thats relevant if you are talking about the popularity of an OS in general.

It is relevant, since the popularity of that OS would likely be greatly reduced if there was only one model of phone.. Price is a huge factor in phones, and if you didn't have the cheap stuff, and the one Android phone and the iPhone were the same price, iPhone sales would probably dominate. All speculation, of course, but still probably true. But, we will never know.

I don't see how this is an accomplishment when one company sells 1-2 phones per year and the other comes out with a new one each month.

But whatever floats your boat.

I never said it was. I despise Samsung. I was staying that Samsung sells more Phone MODELS, I should have added that.

Curious, why do you despise Samsung? They're just a technology company

If you read the story about Samsung, you will see that they are nothing but a cheating and copying company.

Until recently they used plastic and touchwiz is bloated. Hate is a strong word though as I wouldn't mind a Note 4 running a custom AOSP based ROM.

Even so, plastic is durable, most of touch wiz features can be disabled to my knowledge. On the boat part, that's pretty standard for Android.

I place aesthetics very high on my list. I do and nothing can change that for me.

I really don't like the look of touchwiz still. It looks like a mix of gingerbread and KitKat

You don't say.

So you believe hardware choice is part of what makes Android more appealing?

Price is a huge factor in phones
So you believe most people do not believe the iPhone is worth the price Apple is asking for it?

That being said...Apple iPhone 5c cell phone from AT&T

iPhone were the same price, iPhone sales would probably dominate. All speculation, of course, but still probably true.
You seem really convinced that most people do not think the iPhone is worth the price.

People must think that it is worth the price, since it is the #1 selling smartphone. Seems like I read somewhere, and it may have been in a forum, that the 5s outsold the Note 3, S5, G2, M8, and Moto X, combined.
I will give you credit though, you are the "spin doctor"when it comes to twisting somebody's words.

The analogy is not entirely accurate...the Lamborghini actually does something significantly better than the toyota. It is not just coasting on image or name recognition.

Not the point

Just showing that a company with few products that, which are all expensive, moves less product than a company that saturates the market at different price points.

A flawed analogy is entirely the point IMO.

AT&T is giving away free 5Cs on contract, and iPhones are sold in walmart. The "but it's premium" argument no longer applies IMO.

It's a plastic phone that no one wanted because it was plastic.....

And it's a year old...

It came in kids colors.....
